Level 3 Personal Trainer and Biomechanics Coach Course (REP's Accredited)
Description:
This course provides you with a wide range of knowledge and skills to enable you to operate as a personal trainer and biomechanics coach. This is the only personal trainer course in the world that teaches you the essential skills of biomechanical screening. You will be able to assess your clients Health and Lifestyle status as well as their Biomechanics and core stability before designing specific programmes of exercise for your client. This course will allow you to gain entry to the Register Of Exercise Professionals at Level 3.
You will complete the Anatomy and Physiology Section of the course in your own time (Online), you will also be required to attend 7 training days.

Personal Training and Biomechanics Coach Course Requirements
You will already have a level 2 qualification in Fitness Instructing (GYM) or Exercise to Music and must also have at least 6 months experience of working in a gym environment. (If you have under 6 months experience then you will have to undertake a selection interview)
Theory Learning
You will receive a workbook and learning manual for each section of the course. The anatomy and physiology section of the course is supported online via a secure login and follows a logical lesson structure. Working through the lessons, you will see very detailed notes and animations, as well as tailor made video examples of what you will be instructing once qualified.
To ensure that you understand the material you study, each section has an automated online test that you need to complete before moving on. These can be repeated if you are unsuccessful, at no extra cost.
Additional tuition
If you require additional support between the course dates you can attend a live online tutorial via Skype (additional cost)
Training Days
You must also attend seven training days as part of the course. These training days will cover the following units:
• Client Lifestyle and Fitness Assessment
• Advanced Instructing – Resistance and CV
• Biomechanical Analysis
• Assessing Core Stability and prescribing exercises
• Nutrition and Weight Management
• Business and Marketing Skills for the Fitness Professional
Assessment
Once you have completed the Online course theory and the seven training days you will then be able to come along to the assessment day where you will be assessed in the following ways:
• Observation of performing fitness and biomechanics tests on a client
• Anatomy and Physiology Exam Paper
• Observation of a Practical session using advanced CV and Resistance techniques incorporating the exercises related to the biomechanics screens
• Observation and delivery of Core Stability exercises
• Completion of a Nutrition Case Study (completed before the assessment day)
• Nutrition Exam Paper
